LB Models is a traditional, hand crafted model maker working in wood, paper, plastic, metals and composite materials, employing cutting, sculpting, casting, etching, RTV molding, and 3D printing technologies, where appropriate.

LB Models uses model making to explore the past, archeological, and the future through invention. The models shown above and in the video were designed around materials and technologies that were known, though not always proven, to the ancient builders. Whilst the models are based on functional requirements, an artistic component has been incorporated, making them particularly appealing to younger audiences. They are fun to handle and operate and present a great educational tool.
